Originally designed by R. J. Mitchell in 1931, The Spitfire, a type of fighter aircraft used by the RAF during World War II, remained in service until 1955. This was a piece of work I actually did nearly 30 years ago, with charcoal pencils, whilst I was at secondary school. After scanning it I blurred the background landscape to give it depth.
